There is a dark shadow of a violent past slowly decaying in the center of Tallinn. It is called the Prison of Patarei. Though the ghostly building with its abandoned library, medical torture room, artist-decorated cells and a hanging room (in the literal sense) does have it’s attraction even in the current state, time has done its work and the former naval fort / prison is slowly but surely falling apart. To prevent that from happening, renovation works need to be put in motion soon. As such, the building would be perfect for a Warfare Museum. I envisioned a few views of how the Prison would look like, if it was to be renovated. Aerial view is based on a photo by Andres Tarto.
